Team VITA Steps Up for Sepsis Research FEAT with Weekend Fundraiser
Last weekend, Team VITA came together once again to support our chosen charity for the year, Sepsis Research FEAT, through participation in the “Inflatable 5k”, with current and former colleagues, and a few friends joining to take on the inflatable obstacles in a fun filled 5k.
Congrats to Jen, Chantal and Greg, alongside VITA alumni Rachael and friend of the firm Mary for bouncing their way through the various challenges, and taking on the 5k in between. Thankfully it was a beautiful day so they were more worried about the heat than the rain and mud!
This marks another meaningful step in the Team VITA’s year-long campaign to raise both awareness and funds for a cause that resonates deeply. Sepsis Research FEAT is a UK-based charity focused on funding vital research into sepsis, a potentially fatal condition triggered by the body’s extreme response to infection. Alongside its research efforts, the charity works tirelessly to educate the public about the signs and risks of sepsis, which continues to affect thousands of lives each year.
“We chose Sepsis Research FEAT because it’s a cause close to our hearts,” said Jen, speaking on behalf of Team VITA. “We’re proud to be contributing in a way that goes beyond fundraising by helping to inform and engage others about the realities of sepsis.”
And the journey doesn’t stop here. Team VITA is already planning its next initiative – this time to challenge you! and bring even more people, colleagues, friends, and the wider community into the fold.
Whether it’s through donations, taking part in events, or simply sharing information, every action helps push forward the fight against sepsis. Team VITA encourages everyone to get involved and make a difference. If you are in a position to donate you still can donate through the following link Donate Here
